Common questions

Is the clinic open in the evening?

Yes. Nallasopara West: Monday to Saturday, 12–2 pm and 7:30–9:30 pm. Virar East: Monday to Saturday, 5:30–7:30 pm. Sunday by appointment.

Do I need an appointment?

You can walk in during clinic hours. Calling first reduces your waiting time.

Where is surgery done?

At partner hospitals in Nallasopara and Virar. We will tell you which hospital when we plan your operation.

Do you speak Marathi?

Yes. We speak Marathi, Hindi and English.

Is an orthopaedic doctor the same as a bone setter?

No. A bone setter is a traditional healer with no medical training. An orthopaedic doctor, the 'haddi ka doctor' or 'hadancha doctor', has a medical degree and a postgraduate degree in orthopaedics, examines you, checks the X-ray, and treats fractures, joints and the spine with proven methods, including an operation when it is truly needed. Tight bandaging or massage on a fresh fracture or dislocation can make the bone join crooked or leave the joint stiff, and can sometimes damage the skin or the blood supply. If you have already been to a bone setter, you are still welcome: bring any X-rays you have.

Which areas do your patients come from?

Mostly from Nallasopara (Nalasopara) East and West, Virar East and West, and Vasai East and West. The Nallasopara West clinic is closer for Nalasopara and Vasai; the Virar East clinic is closer for Virar.

Ready when you are.

Call either clinic during consulting hours, or send a WhatsApp message any time.
